Explore the wide expanse of Space at the Mechanicsburg Public Library this summer! Learn about the constellations, what “Moon Sand” feels like, and enjoy a rocketing magic show. Registration is open to children ages 5-18. Programs for ages 5-10 are held on Tuesdays from 11-11:45 AM, ages 11-18 are on the 2nd and 4th Mondays from 2-3 with movie nights throughout June and July. All programs are free of charge!

Summer Reading Kick Off Party at Goshen Park!! Come eat hot dogs, win prizes, and decorate stars!!

It's almost time to PLAY BALL! Baseball, that is. With opening ceremony fast approaching, enjoy an evening with a tour of different baseball stadiums (via computer) and statistics for each team. What's baseball without hot dogs? We will have a hot dog buffett where you can re-create a famous hot dog from one of the stadiums. 

Come to Mechanicsburg Public Library for a double feature of Valentine movies. Bring your own snack and drink, but drink must have a lid! Showing 2:30 – 4:30 pm: The Princess and the Frog. Rated G, All Ages. Showing 5 – 7 pm: Everything, Everything. Rated PG-13, Ages 13 +

Love the feeling of gooey slime? Come to the Mechanicsburg Public Library from 4 – 5 PM to make your own Valentine’s Day themed slime! 

Make a special card for that special someone in your life. From 4:30 – 6 PM the Mechanicsburg Public Library will be hosting Valentine’s Day card making for youth ages 5 – 18.
